2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp. margarine
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
3 Tbsp. cold water

• Mix the flour, sugar, and salt in a large bowl.
• Cut the margarine into small pieces and mix into the flour. Quickly work in the margarine until the clumps are reduced to the size of raisins. The mixture should be crumbly.
• Thoroughly mix together the oil and water in a small bowl and combine with the flour/margarine mixture. Knead until it barely holds together. Don’t overwork.
Flatten the dough into a disc, wrap in plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
