OK, OK, so legendary NFL superstar Tom Brady hasn’t come out and said the word “vegan” but c’mon. If it talks plant-based, eats plant-based, and partners with vegan food delivery service Purple Carrot … just sayin’. The lifestyle of Tom and his supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, reportedly doesn’t include any dairy “products” and consists primarily of vegetables and grains.
In his comment regarding the new partnership between his “peak performance” company, TB12, and Purple Carrot, Tom shows his plant-based cards:
“Eating meals like these is what has helped me stay at the top of my game.”
Did you catch that? “Meals like these” are vegan meals.
Tom and Gisele are so plant-based, even their two young children are in on the action. The couple’s private chef, Allen Campbell, prepares food for the entire family, keeping the kids in mind. He says, “For snacks, I make fruit rolls from bananas, pineapple, and spirulina. Spirulina is an algae. It’s a super fruit. I dehydrate it. I dehydrate a lot of things. I have three dehydrators in their kitchen. I also make raw granola and raw chocolate chip cookies.”
The people behind Purple Carrot had noticed that Tom’s TB12 method had a whole lot in common with the plant-based food-delivery service. So it only made sense to collaborate.
But even if you’re not looking for “peak performance,” just mouthwatering vegan meals, Purple Carrot has you covered.
People go vegan for any number of reasons: for their health, for the environment, and, of course, for animals. Whatever your reason, you have the power to change the world simply by changing what’s on your plate.
Gisele knows what’s up.
