After discussions with PETA, Global Brands Group— which owns Aquatalia and licenses more than a dozen brands, including Frye and Spyder—has done the right thing for animals and consumers by joining Prada, Coach, Jean Paul Gaultier, Giorgio Armani, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Vivienne Westwood, Michael Kors, Donna Karan, and many others that have banned fur! With so many luxurious, stylish, and warm faux furs available today, there’s no excuse for wearing or selling fur, which comes from animals who spend their entire lives confined to cramped, filthy wire cages and are violently killed by suffocation, poisoning, and genital electrocution. Ask Saks Fifth Avenue, Alice and Olivia, and other top retailers to join Global Brands Group and ban fur immediately.
