Chinese Laundry Removes All Fur Items!

February 2012

After discovering that stylish footwear company Chinese Laundry was selling shoes adorned with real fur trim, PETA asked that it remove these items immediately. Receiving nothing but silence, PETA decided to press even harder by issuing an action alert to our members and supporters. In less than 24 hours, close to 2,000 people had taken action and the company decided to pull the fur shoes from its available supply. Chinese Laundry sent a statement to PETA saying, “We want our customers to know that their voice does matter, and we have therefore taken immediate action. Thank you to PETA and our loyal customers for bringing this to our attention.”
