In celebration of Miley Cyrus’ marriage to Liam Hemsworth, PETA is sending the happy couple a pair of matching snuggly bathrobes embroidered with “Mr. Vegan” and “Mrs. Vegan.”
It’s no secret that Cyrus and Hemsworth are both vegan and outspoken animal advocates—in just the last month, Cyrus turned “Santa Baby” into a feminist vegan anthem, launched a new vegan line with Converse, and gushed about how Hemsworth rescued her numerous pigs, horses, dogs, and cats from the Woolsey fire in Malibu, California, before her home tragically burned down. This isn’t the first time PETA has celebrated the newlyweds, either: Cyrus and Hemsworth were crowned, respectively, PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2015 and 2016.
“Miley Cyrus’ and Liam Hemsworth’s compassion have inspired countless people to help animals and go vegan,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA wishes them many more years of promoting kindness to animals together.”
