As baseball fever sweeps the nation, there’s good news for animal-friendly Phillies fans: PETA’s list of the Top 10 Vegetarian-Friendly Major League Ballparks of 2015 has honored Citizens Bank Park with the number two spot—for the second year in a row. Fans and visitors alike rave about the vegan wild mushroom and tofu cheesesteak and the three-bean vegetarian chili—both new additions to Harry the K’s Broadcast Bar & Grille. Vegan black bean burgers, “chicken” patties, and many other tasty options are also available to fans in the stands, while the Diamond Club offers a vegan farmer’s market station as well as a vegan ginger, soy, and lime salad that’s served with romaine lettuce, napa cabbage, roasted mushrooms, and crispy noodles.

“This year, Citizens Bank Park helped to set the bar for delicious vegan ballpark snacks,” says PETA Executive Vice President Tracy Reiman. “Each park ranked in PETA’s top 10 offers a tasty variety of veg-friendly foods that are helping to set the standard for parks across the country.”

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ Dodger Stadium took top honors, followed by the Washington Nationals’ Nationals Park in third place, the San Diego Padres’ Petco Park in fourth, and the New York Mets’ Citi Field in fifth. Rounding out the top 10 are the San Francisco Giants’ AT&T Park, the Pittsburgh Pirates’ PNC Park, the Colorado Rockies’ Coors Field, the Boston Red Sox’s Fenway Park, and the Chicago White Sox’s U.S. Cellular Field.

PETA also ranked the top vegetarian-friendly AA minor league ballparks. Leading the pack is the New Britain Rock Cats’ New Britain Stadium, followed by the Tulsa Drillers’ ONEOK Field, the Biloxi Shuckers’ MGM Park, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos’ Pensacola Bayfront Stadium, and the Erie SeaWolves’ Jerry Uht Park.

Citizens Bank Park will receive a framed certificate from PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat.”
