How to Order Vegan Options at Wendy’s in 2025

Published by Ryan Hajek.

Wendy’s is one of the largest fast-food chains in the U.S. and offers the typical fast-food menu along with less common items like baked potatoes and chili. It’s been a minute since I’ve been to a Wendy’s so I investigated all of the vegan options Wendy’s has to offer in 2025.

The plain baked potato is vegan and can be topped with chives.

While the chili at Wendy’s does not contain meat, it is not vegan since it contains milk that was meant for calves.

Go dairy-free: Cows have friends, hold grudges against other cows, and mourn when a loved one dies or when they’re separated from each other.

Vegan Salads at Wendy’s

The Apple Pecan Salad can be vegan with a few modifications. It comes with a vegan pomegranate vinaigrette dressing. Simply order the salad without blue cheese, chicken, and roasted pecans, which contain milk and honey.

Hold off on honey: Bees work hard to support their colonies and pollinate the plants that make life on Earth possible but beekeepers use smoke and gas to manipulate bee colonies and steal all the honey that bees work hard to produce.

The other salads at Wendy’s cannot be made vegan because the salad blends contain milk and eggs.

Vegan Burgers at Wendy’s

Wendy’s does not currently offer a vegan burger.

Wendy’s Vegan Breakfast Options

The seasoned potatoes available during breakfast hours are vegan. The apple slices are also vegan.

Unlike Burger King which offers vegan french toast sticks, Wendy’s french toast sticks are not vegan because they contain cows’ milk and eggs stolen from chickens.

Go egg-free: Chickens form complex social structures, dream when they sleep, and worry about the future, just as humans do.

Fast Food Vegan Options Besides Wendy’s

Major fast food chains are offering more vegan options as people are choosing not to eat animals because of the destructive combination of cruelty to animalsenvironmental destruction, and negative human health effects.
