Sick and Starving Horse Seized in West Virginia

April 2004

Thanks to pressure from PETA, this sick and starving horse was relinquished from a neglectful owner in Elkins, West Virginia. A vet found her to be suffering from the worst case of lice she had ever seen. The horse is now recovering in the compassionate care of a rescuer.
