Nonlethal Beaver Management Project a Great Success

PETA’s wildlife biologist began the first phase of a beaver-management project for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). The year-long study will establish criteria for installing and maintaining nonlethal beaver-management methods in order to demonstrate to VDOT how beaver-related problems can be eliminated using humane, cost-efficient techniques. Soon after, we received an enormous amount of positive feedback on this site from VDOT personnel and the property owners.
