New Look Rejects Australian Wool
October 2004
After reviewing video footage from PETA showing the cruel treatment of lambs and sheep at the hands of the Australian wool industry, prestigious retailer New Look, a $1 billion company based in London, has said that it will now refuse to purchase Australian wool from producers who practice mulesing and send sheep overseas on “death ships.” New Look officials thanked PETA for alerting them to the cruelty in mulesing and live export.
