Coach Bans Fur!

After more than 11 years of PETA-led protests, shareholder resolutions, in-person meetings, and pressure from supporters, luxury brand Coach announced that it’s joining the fur-free movement, admitting that “it’s the right thing to do.” The brand joins hundreds of other retailers—including Burberry, Versace, Michael Kors, BCBG, and Gucci—in turning its back on an industry that forces terrified animals to spend their entire lives inside filthy, cramped wire cages before being gassed, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for fur. The company’s compassionate move is further proof that the future of fashion is vegan.

Help us urge Coach to extend its fur ban to include mohair and angora.
