After more than a decade of pressure from PETA, the urging of nearly 185,000 of our supporters, and help from our friends at the Coalition to Abolish the Fur Trade, retailer Alice + Olivia banned fur and removed fur items from its website! We’re pleased that the company will no longer fund the cruel fur industry, which forces stressed and injured animals to live in cramped cages before workers electrocute or gas them and peel their skin off. Some retailers know fur is always a product of tremendous violence yet still continue to sell it. Please urge Saks Fifth Avenue and others to stop selling fur.
