After Hearing From PETA, Out-U-Go! Pet Care Services Commits to Not Promoting Iditarod

After learning from PETA that the Iditarod has resulted in the deaths of more than 150 dogs since it began, Out-U-Go! Pet Care Services confirmed that it won’t promote or endorse this cruel race going forward. The company previously featured the Iditarod in an e-mail promotion to customers—which resulted in complaints to PETA. This is a victory for the 235 dogs who were too sick, injured, or exhausted to finish the 2019 Iditarod—including 5-year-old Oshi, who died from aspiration pneumonia after being forced to run the grueling race. Out-U-Go! joins The Coca-Cola Company, Costco, Jack Daniel’s, Maxwell House, Pizza Hut, Rite-Aid, Safeway, State Farm, Wells Fargo, and others in committing to not supporting the deadly Iditarod. Urge Chrysler and other companies to join them!
