Imagine a world in which animals are free from abuse and exploitation. TeachKind is working to accomplish this goal by helping educators integrate compassion for animals into their curriculum. And we have now become an official partner with the Humane Education Coalition (HEC) in order to expand our network and work with other agencies that share our mutual goal of a more compassionate world.

The HEC is an international alliance of organizations seeking to advance the field of humane education. Its focus is on human and animal rights as well as environmental ethics, and it’s bringing groups together to collaborate on research, best practices, and policy initiatives. TeachKind is excited to join forces with organizations working to promote the idea that education should include critical thinking about the way society treats animals and a discussion of the kind choices that everyone can make.

We look forward to sharing TeachKind resources with coalition partners and providing expertise where we can in order to help make humane education accessible to everyone.
