Wet Ingredients:
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
5 Tbsp. orange juice
1 Tbsp. canola oil
1 Tbsp. maple syrup

• In a medium bowl, whisk together the water and pumpkin. Add to the bread pan.
• Add the orange juice, oil, and syrup.

Dry Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup bread flour
1 Tbsp. powdered soy milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp. orange zest
1 pkg. active dry yeast
1/4 cup golden raisins (optional)

• Carefully measure the first 6 ingredients and add to the bread pan. (They’ll sit or float on top of the wet ingredients.) Using your finger or a spoon, create a dip in the surface of the dry ingredients and place the yeast inside.
• Program the bread machine on the whole-wheat mode for a 1-lb. (small) loaf. The raisins can be added after the mixing cycle is done and before the kneading cycle begins.
