1/4 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 garlic bulb
1/8 cup olive oil
1/2 cup tahini
1 Tbsp. onion granules
1 Tbsp. salt
Pinch of cayenne
25-oz. can chickpeas

• In a blender, combine the water, lemon juice, and garlic. Pour into a medium-sized bowl and add the olive oil, tahini, onion granules, salt, and cayenne.
• Mash the chickpeas in a separate bowl and add to the tahini mixture.*
• Enjoy with chips or pita wedges or in a wrap.

*Note: A mini meat grinder works great for mashing beans.

Makes 2 1/2 cups
