1 pkg. Gimme Lean
1/2 green pepper, chopped finely
1 small onion, chopped finely
1-2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 slices white bread
Egg Replacer equivalent of 2 eggs
Dash of salt and pepper
Vegetable oil
6 oz. Heinz chili sauce
5 oz. red currant jelly

• Combine Gimme Lean, green pepper, onion, garlic, bread, egg replacer, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
• Heat some oil in a skillet—enough to coat the bottom. Make very small balls from the mixture and cook them in the oil until they are brown all over and thoroughly cooked.
• While they are cooking, place the chili sauce and jelly together in a saucepan. Heat and stir until smooth.
• When the balls are finished cooking, add them to the sauce. Make sure they are all covered in the sauce, and simmer over low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes.
