Turner Field’s newest concessions—including the “Burgerizza” (a burger between two pizzas) and the “Punisher” (a BBQ rib sandwich topped with bacon)—have prompted PETA to respond with a new billboard that shows a sexy nurse next to the words, “Hit a Home Run For Your Health: Go Vegan.” PETA is negotiating with outdoor advertisers in Atlanta with the aim of running the billboard as close as possible to the ballpark and encouraging Braves fans to skip the new meaty fare in favor of Turner Field’s vegan concession items.

“With hearty meat-free options like veggie dogs and veggie burgers available at Turner Field’s concession stands, it’s preposterous for Braves fans to clog up their arteries with these cholesterol-laden stunt sandwiches,” says PETA President Ingrid Newkirk. “PETA’s billboard is a fun reminder that protecting your health is as easy as choosing a vegan meal, whether you’re cheering on the Braves at home or from the stands.”

In addition to saving 100 animals every year from daily suffering and a terrifying death in today’s industrialized meat, egg, and dairy industries, going vegan reduces diners’ chances of developing heart disease by a whopping 32 percent, according to one of many large-scale studies at Oxford University. Leading medical experts have determined that healthy vegan meals can even reverse heart disease in people who already have clogged arteries.

PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat”—has ranked Turner Field among the Top 10 Vegetarian-Friendly Major League Ballparks seven times in the last 10 years, most recently granting it the number 10 spot on the list in 2014.
