Los Angeles – I thought you might be interested in photos of Emmy Award–winning American Horror Story star James Cromwell, who locked himself in a shipping crate at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday as part of PETA’s protest against Air France, the last major airline in the world that still ships monkeys to laboratories, where they’re caged, cut into, poisoned, crippled, deprived of food and water, infected with deadly diseases, and killed.

“The real horror story is the pain and terror experienced by the monkeys who are transported in Air France’s cargo holds beneath the feet of unsuspecting passengers,” Cromwell says. “My friends at PETA and I are telling Air France that cruelty shouldn’t fly and that the airline needs to join the rest of the industry in refusing to deliver primates to their deaths in laboratories.”

Photos of Cromwell are available here, and more information about PETA’s campaign against Air France is available here.
