When PETA released investigation footage of ostriches being abused and killed for their skins, fashionistas and fashion companies around the world took notice. Now, following talks with PETA, Global Brands Group has made the compassionate decision to ban ostrich-derived products from its controlled brands.

The ban extends to fashion companies such as Juicy Couture as well as to collections by Jennifer Lopez, David Beckham, and Rachel Zoe, among many others.


The demand for “cruelty-free chic” is skyrocketing as modern fashionistas become aware of the animal abuse and environmental destruction involved in the leather, suede, fur, and other industries that sell items made from animals. With gorgeous vegan leather options, there is no need for the cruel and violent leather industry.
