6 Eco-Friendly Solid Shampoos and Conditioners Making Waves for Animals

There’s a new beauty trend taking hold, and it’s cruelty-free, vegan, and sustainable. Companies such as Lush and Ethique are running with the idea. So what is it, you ask? Drumroll, please.

The term is “solid shampoo,” or “shampoo bars.” Picture a block of concentrated shampoo (or conditioner) that mixes with the water coming from your shower, instead of being diluted with water and then packaged in a plastic bottle.
