Victoria’s Secret Has Nothing on PETA’s Angels

Published by Michelle Reynolds.

August 22 is “Be an Angel” Day, a day set aside to remind everyone to be helpful and kind—to animals as well as people. So here are a few of PETA’s favorite angels with their suggestions on how to earn your wings:

1.

Real Housewives of Miami star Joanna Krupa and her dog, Rugby, know that real angels never support breeders or puppy mills.

2.

Famke Janssen and her dog, Licorice, are taken with the idea that angels make their animal companions part of the family.

3.

Dexter star Yvonne Strahovski and her pups, Chazzie and Wilbur, say that angels would never kill a shelter dog’s chance at a good home by buying a dog instead of adopting.

4.

Formula 1 racing heiress Tamara Ecclestone and her beloved mutt, Buster, race to tell people that angels invest time, resources, and patience in their companion animals.

5.

Taraji P. Henson and her buddy, Uncle Willie, want angels to help every chained dog they see.

6.

And let’s not forget the original angel.

You don’t need gossamer wings to be an angel for animals. Just check out PETA’s guide to angelic activism
