Top 10 Veg-Friendly Minor League Ballparks

These minor league teams are major players for animals with all the vegetarian deliciousness they’re offering up:  

1. Fort Myers Miracle’s Hammond Stadium

Is it any wonder that the Fort Myers Miracle takes the vegan cake? Just look at the list of cruelty-free foods the stadium offers: vegan chili cheese dogs, fresh fruit salad, veggie tacos, veggie spring rolls, a pepper and onion Philly with vegan cheese, fruit smoothies, hummus and pita chips, and, last but certainly not least, the Tony LaRussa Dog—a veggie burger wrapped around a veggie dog and topped with mushrooms, olives, and vegan shredded cheese.

2. Rochester Red Wings’ Frontier Field

The Red Wings are leading ballparks into a new frontier of delicious eating with offerings like veggie burgers and veggie dogs, vegan pizza, portobello mushroom burgers, pasta with tomato sauce, and veggie kabobs.

3. Hagerstown Suns’ Municipal Stadium

The sun is smiling on Municipal Stadium, with its veggie burgers, vegan cheeseburgers, veggie dogs, veggie subs, hummus and pita chips, fruit smoothies, and vegetarian baked beans.

4. Hudson Valley Renegades’ Dutchess Stadium

Fans at Dutchess Stadium can eat like royalty on the Thai Cobb Burger (a veggie burger topped with guacamole, sprouts, and Thai sesame glaze), veggie dogs, veggie tacos, ziti with tomato sauce, veggie fajitas, vegetable wraps, and a salad bar.

5. Durham Bulls’ Durham Bulls Athletic Park

It’s no bull—the Bulls give their fans loads of cattle-approved options, such as black-bean veggie burgers, veggie sausage, veggie dogs, and burritos stuffed with tofu, black beans, and pico de gallo.

6. Memphis Redbirds’ AutoZone Park

AutoZone Park is a hot zone for delicious vegetarian fare, such as veggie dogs, veggie sausage, grilled spicy black-bean burgers, a baked-potato bar, a fresh fruit medley, and grilled Caesar salad wraps (made with fish-friendly, anchovy-free dressing).

7. Tacoma Rainiers’ Cheney Stadium

Rainiers fans can fill up on veggie dogs, veggie burgers with vegan cheese, vegetarian burritos, grilled Portobello sandwiches, baked potatoes, and grilled corn on the cob.

8. Tulsa Drillers’ ONEOK Field

There’s plenty for the discerning palate while watching runners cross the plate at a Drillers game, like veggie burgers, hummus and pita chips with tabouli, veggie dogs, vegetable wraps, fruit trays, taco salad bowls, vegetable crudités, and dairy-free ice cream for dessert.

9 Carolina Mudcats’ Five County Stadium

Five County Stadium has five delicious dishes for diners to enjoy while cheering on the Mudcats: veggie dogs, pasta, veggie burgers, vegetable wraps, and fresh fruit and veggies.

10. Lansing Lugnuts’ Cooley Law School Stadium

Lugnuts fans can go nuts with options like veggie burgers, veggie burritos, vegetable wraps, roasted corn on the cob, hummus and pita chips, and veggie taco salads.
