Vegans Take Food Network by Storm

It was a proud night for vegans last night, as season two of The Great Food Truck Race got rolling, featuring the PETA-award-winning Seabirds vegan food truck.

As they travel the country, contestants buy local ingredients at each town they stop in and compete to prepare the best dishes. If there’s one thing that the lasses behind Seabirds know from making their cruelty-free vegan fare, it’s how to creatively mix locally grown produce to make deliciously satisfying meals that are also affordable.

To watch as Stephanie, Raya, and Nicole spread vegan deliciousness across the U.S. (and to see throngs of your fellow PETA supporters visiting them in each city), catch The Great Food Truck Race Sunday nights at 9 p.m. EDT. If you watch with carnivorous friends, seeing Seabirds’ scrumptious fare might be the encouragement they need to go vegan.
