12 Dogs Who Are Putting Our Smiles to Shame

Published by Angela Henderson.

Few things make us smile more than our dog friends—from their endless enthusiasm when we get home from running a five-minute errand to the abundance of excitement they show when we utter the “W” word. Dogs are the best. They can even outshine us with their smiles. To celebrate #NationalDogDay, here are photos of 12 dogs who didn’t get braces in middle school and still have better smiles than we do.

When you adopt a dog, you get so much in return—including a lifetime of smiles. Every time someone purchases a dog from a pet store or breeder, a dog in a shelter or on the streets loses a chance at finding a home—which can be a death sentence. Millions of adoptable animals must be euthanized every year because animal shelters are filled to capacity. You can help combat this by choosing to adopt your animal companions and always having them spayed and neutered!

Put a smile on a dog’s face today. Adopt.
