Anthony Bourdain Breakthrough?

Published by Jennifer O'Connor.

This is a first: We’re telling people to tune in to committed carnivore Anthony Bourdain’s show, Parts Unknown, on Sunday, April 13. In the season premiere, Bourdain visits Punjab, India, and is wowed by the delicious complexity of the vegetarian food.

“If this is what vegetarianism meant in most of the places that practice it in the West, I’d be at least half as much less of a dick about the subject.” —Bourdain

To show that we don’t hold a grudge against Bourdain’s past resistance to great vegetarian eating, we’re sending him a gift package of faux caviar and champagne, along with a certificate for dinner for two at renowned restaurant M.O.B. in Brooklyn, New York.

Luckily, PETA India has lots of recipes for tasty vegan Indian treats that you can try right in your own home.
