Minnesota Lawmakers Ignore Pro-Hunting Legislation

April 2003

PETA posted an action alert on our Web site and rallied members in Minnesota after learning about state legislation that would have opened the first sport hunting season on mourning doves since 1946 and legislation that would have allowed the cruel use of radio-collared dogs to hunt black bears. Fortunately, the state legislature adjourned without passing either piece of legislation.
