Kentucky Police Department Creates the Country’s Strongest Downed-Animal Policy

After PETA brought much-needed attention to the issue of downed animals in Kenton County, Kentucky, the county police department adopted a policy requiring that all downed animals be immediately euthanized, whether on a farm, in transit, or at a slaughterhouse.
