A troop of PETA supporters with giant monkey masks descended upon the University of Washington’s New Student Convocation, after traveling over on Seattle’s Light Rail, to tell everyone in attendance about the school’s deadly underground primate center and call for its immediate closure.

Because Vermont has the lowest fertility rate in the U.S.—and the consumption of estrogen-loaded dairy cheese is linked with decreased semen quality—a PETA supporter dressed as a not-so-little swimmer planted a seed about going vegan by handing out hundreds of animal-friendly cheese snacks.

Nearly nude PETA supporters covered in ‘blood’ and lying on giant meat trays wrapped in cellophane—complete with spoof ‘humane’ labels—took aim at the bogus certification scheme used to market the flesh of animals and dupe kind consumers into paying more for the same old cruelty.

A group of PETA supporters accompanied by “Bernard”—a seven-foot-tall talking animatronic bear voiced by actor Casey Affleck—kicked off a weeklong tour to warn kind people to steer clear of Three Bears General Store, where twin black bears Daisy and River are confined 24/7 to a barren concrete pit with no chance to be bears and are not allowed to roam, forage, hibernate, or engage in other natural behaviors.

Diners on their way to local eateries that serve pork are in for an earful when “Hell on Wheels”—PETA’s hyper-realistic pig transport truck that looks as if it contains real pigs on their way to slaughter—bombards them with actual recorded sounds of the animals’ panicked screams.

Shoppers attending the grand opening of a new Urban Outfitters were met with a gruesome sight, as a PETA supporter descended upon the store and displayed a realistic, severed “cow’s head.” The action is part of PETA’s campaign calling on all Urban Outfitters Inc. brands to stop selling leather, wool, cashmere, mohair, down, and alpaca fleece–all of which represent extreme violence, cruelty, and fear.
