Tempeh BLT SandwichesPrint
- 1 pkg. Lightlife Smoky Tempeh Strips
- 2 Tbsp. vegan mayo
- 4 slices sourdough sandwich bread, toasted
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 beefsteak or heirloom tomato, sliced
- 2 leaves romaine lettuce
- Avocado and sliced red onion (optional)
- Cut the tempeh bacon strips in half and cook according to package directions.
- Spread the vegan mayo on one side of each slice of toasted bread. Season with the salt and pepper.
- Assemble the sandwiches, layering the tempeh bacon, tomato, and lettuce (along with the avocado and sliced red onion, if desired).
- Cut in half and serve.
