8 oz. fresh green beans, trimmed
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp. miso paste
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes (or more, to taste)
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. grated fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
1 Tbsp. black sesame seeds

• Steam the green beans until cooked but still slightly crisp.
• Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over the green beans, tossing to coat.

Makes 4 servings
