This is the heartwarming story of Coco, a lovable dog who was so malnourished when PETA’s fieldworkers found her neglected in a backyard that nearly every bone in her body was visible. Coco was quickly whisked to safety and has since found a new loving home indoors. Her stunning recovery speaks for itself in her dramatic “before” and “after” photos, available here.

More information on Coco’s journey back to health—and why every dog belongs indoors as part of a family—is available on PETA’s website here.
