Stuntman Steve-O may be in hot water with the California Highway Patrol after releasing a video that shows him altering a highway sign to make it proclaim, “SeaWorld Sucks!” but his friends at PETA—whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to use for entertainment”—think his message was spot on, and staffers have offered to pay the rumored $7,000 fine that he’s set to incur for the prank.

“As SeaWorld’s plunging stocks show, Steve-O isn’t the only one who realizes that SeaWorld sucks, and the highway sign needs to come down,” says PETA Senior Vice President Lisa Lange. “Everyone who cares about wildlife knows that the real crime is keeping orcas in tiny concrete tanks and depriving them of a natural life.”
