PETA will put a twist on happy hour on Friday with a special St. Patrick’s Day display in its front yard. Visitors will be able to pose for photos with sexy guys and gals in green, pick up a free vegan starter kit, and enjoy a complimentary green Old Brown Dog beer, courtesy of Smuttynose Brewing Company. The group’s message? Go green and go vegan!

When:    Friday, March 17, 5 p.m.

Where:    PETA, 1536 16th St. N.W., Washington

“There’s no time like St. Patrick’s Day to go green. Everyone can help the environment by kicking meat, eggs, and dairy products to the curb,” says PETA Vice President Colleen O’Brien. “PETA will be raising a glass this Friday to saving the Earth through vegan meals.”
