Hemp is pretty much the miracle plant. You can make a tote bag from the fibers and use the oil to make lotion. You can even eat the seeds or use them to make hemp milk. I cannot get enough of hemp! Here are some of my favorite ways to use it in my cruelty-free lifestyle.

1. Hemp Underwear

Durable, soft, sustainable, and with antimicrobial properties, hemp underwear will keep you feeling fabulous. Try the ones from WAMA Underwear.

2. MonaLisa Healing CBD Tincture

This tincture is made using only the purest sourced ingredients to ensure that you have the best hemp extract possible, with no fillers. Hemp CBD can be used to improve sleep and mood and decrease inflammation, pain, and anxiety. Medical research shows that it has a positive interaction with the endocannabinoid system in the bodies of humans and other animals, so it’s safe for your animal companions, too!

3. Peace Cereal’s Maple Buckwheat Hemp

This exciting and delicious new cereal has 7 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber. The ingredients are all non-GMO, organic, and vegan, so what are you waiting for?

4. Daily Greens’ Hemp Milks

These hemp seed–infused juices offer a wide variety of nutrients from ingredients such as blue-green algae and wheatgrass. The cold-pressed hemp seeds are a complete protein, contain omega-3 and -6 fatty acids, and are full of calcium and iron. Give cold-pressed hemp milk a try for a non-GMO, gluten- and soy-free protein punch.

5. Dr. Bronner’s Pure-Castile Soap

This liquid soap is made with organic hemp oil, which must be why it feels incredible on my skin—that and the fact that it’s not tested on animals.

6.  Got hemp milk?

Sure, we’ve all heard of soy milk and almond milk, but I think it’s time to make hemp milk a staple.

7. Hemp hummus

Can you say super-food? Hemp is loaded with protein, and this hummus is the perfect snack!

8. Nature’s Gate

The silky-smooth lotion is the perfect remedy if you’ve gotten a little too much sun or if the winter wind is wreaking havoc on your skin.

9. Hemp beer

If you’re over 21 and appreciate a good ale, why not try this herb-accented brew?

10. Hemp shoes

Durable and strong, hemp fiber is not just for purses. Leather is dead!

11. Hemp seeds

If you already have a go-to smoothie that you make for breakfast or between meals, try adding several tablespoons of this hemp powder for extra protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

12. Snack bars

Perfect for a hike, these vegan and protein-filled bars include hemp as a main ingredient. Yum!

13. Hemp sunglasses

Wood-frame sunglasses are old news. Try out these hemp-frame shades to feel seriously cool in the summer heat.
