Video: Troops Urge Military to End Trauma Training on Animals

Published by PETA.

Animals don’t want to be killed in cruel and archaic military trauma training drills. Taxpayers don’t want to fund such barbarism. And service members don’t want to be forced to shoot, stab, dismember, or burn live animals. In this powerful video for PETA, watch as service members and veterans plead for the U.S. armed forces to replace the use of animals in trauma training with modern, superior human-patient simulators.

Help improve training for troops, save millions in taxpayer dollars, and spare animals’ lives. Urge your congressional representatives to cosponsor the bipartisan Battlefield Excellence through Superior Training (BEST) Practices Act, which, if passed, would require the use of human-patient simulators in military trauma drills.
