Team PETA Wins Trivia Challenge

Published by PETA.

If it had been a Brady Bunch trivia challenge, I’m sure I’d have been right there in the winner’s circle beside Team PETA’s own Chris Holbein, Hannah Schein, Emily Bowling, and Lauren Stroyeck.

But it wasn’t. It was a global trivia challenge that pitted the brainiacs from Team PETA against 16 other teams. And because vegans are super smart, it’s really no surprise that PETA’s team won, beating out the second-place team by 7.5 points.

The diverse topics included geography, cultural traditions, current affairs, and science. Lauren says, “We attribute our success to weekly group study sessions and plenty of vegan protein and vitamins to boost our brain power.” The trophy will be engraved with Team PETA’s name and kept proudly for a year. The trivia challenge was organized by Sister Cities of Newport News.

If you’re wondering how you can show off your smarts every day—morning, noon, and night—the answer is easy: Go vegan!
