Live Rat-Eater Busted by Facebook

Published by PETA.

Anthony Weiner isn’t the only person to be caught being an, ahem, weenie via social networking. Utah resident Andy Ray Harris apparently thought he was among “friends” when a video of him allegedly eating a live baby rat was posted on a tattoo parlor’s Facebook page. But one of the business’s “friends” is also a friend of animals and forwarded the incriminating video to PETA. We, in turn, passed it along to local law-enforcement authorities, who promptly charged Harris with cruelty to animals.

Please let PETA know whenever you see anything questionable involving animals on a social-networking site. Friends don’t let friends hurt animals and get away with it.
