Uncertain Future for Little Dog Beaten With a Shoe—Help Keep Her Safe!

Footage captured on a video doorbell system in Atlanta shows a woman viciously pummeling a tiny dog. After PETA and local officials offered rewards, a suspect was arrested and charged with misdemeanor cruelty to animals and the two dogs in the alleged abuser’s custody were moved to safety. However, the future safety of the dogs may depend on a vigorous prosecution of this case, so we must keep pressure on officials!

Please take a moment to send a polite e-mail to Atlanta and Fulton County, Georgia, officials. Thank them for taking cruelty-to-animals cases seriously, and urge them to charge this case as a felony rather than a misdemeanor. Most importantly, ask them to ensure that the dogs’ ongoing safety remains the foremost priority.

Please take a moment to leave a polite comment on the Facebook pages of the Fulton County Solicitor General and the Fulton County District Attorney.
