Texas Pit Bull Abuser Charged With Cruelty

Thanks to pressure from PETA, a Texas woman was charged with cruelty after local authorities discovered that three pit bulls had died in her charge and found two emaciated pit bulls with scars – indicating they were used for fighting – on her property. Because of this case, Texas lawmakers have proposed three separate bills in an effort to strengthen the state’s animal cruelty laws.
