Microsoft Pulls Cruel Mouse Ad

After receiving complaints about a Microsoft commercial featuring a “skydiving” mouse, PETA immediately contacted the company. Explaining that the ad sends an extremely dangerous message to the public–that animal abuse is acceptable and even humorous–and that it could inspire potentially deadly “copycat” actions, we asked Microsoft to pull the advertisement. The company responded quickly and removed the ad from circulation.
