Kiss-a-Pig Contest Canceled

After receiving complaints from employees of Affiliated Computer Services in Austin, Texas, about a planned “kiss-a-pig” contest-an event that is terrifying for young pigs-we wrote to the CEO of the company and asked that the event be canceled or that a stuffed pig be substituted for the live animal. The company wrote back agreeing to alter the event so that no live pigs would be used.
