FAO Schwarz Bans Mohair Teddy Bears

FAO Schwarz heard from PETA and more than 43,000 supporters that in the mohair industry, Angora goats are painfully shorn and ultimately slaughtered. After learning of PETA’s planned demonstration outside its New York City store featuring a 10-foot-tall bloody teddy bear, the toy retailer confirmed to PETA that it had pulled all mohair teddy bears from its shelves.
