Ecoalf Pledges to Stop Using Down by 2020

After hearing from PETA that birds used for down are subjected to intensive confinement on filthy factory farms before their throats are slit and they’re dumped into scalding-hot defeathering tanks—often while still conscious—retailer Ecoalf made the compassionate and smart decision to stop using down by 2020. The company is also using the “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo to market its eco-friendly jackets and cater to the overwhelming consumer demand for cruelty-free fashion. Please urge lululemon to follow suit and ban down!
