After hearing from PETA that birds used for down are subjected to intensive confinement on filthy factory farms before their throats are slit and they’re dumped into scalding-hot defeathering tanks—often while still conscious—retailer Ecoalf made the compassionate and smart decision to stop using down by 2020. The company is also using the “PETA-Approved Vegan” logo to market its eco-friendly jackets and cater to the overwhelming consumer demand for cruelty-free fashion. Please urge lululemon to follow suit and ban down!
