Atlanta, Georgia, High School Drops Cruel Live Fish Labs

After receiving a complaint from a concerned community member about live fish who died after being placed in chemical-laden water in classroom environmental science experiments at an Atlanta high school, PETA immediately wrote to the school and asked that it end the cruel laboratory. PETA followed up diligently, and the district has promised to discontinue the project permanently. PETA has also offered to donate non-animal alternatives to the school to replace the animal laboratory.
