South Carolina Man Receives One-Year Sentence for Dragging Dog to Death

A South Carolina man was slapped with felony charges for dragging his small dog behind his moped for three miles, while–according to one witness–the dog was “flailing [her] legs and crying.” The dog was killed, and another dog, alive but in “poor condition,” was found by officials at the abuser’s home. PETA contacted authorities, and the abuser was sentenced to a year in prison.
