New Jersey Hoarder Charged With Cruelty and $800 in Fines

PETA wrote to the district attorney prosecuting a horrible case involving a New Jersey residence where authorities found animals perishing in filthy conditions. They seized 165 animals, including dead and paralyzed rodents. The hoarder was fined more than $800 and charged with six counts of cruelty for failure to provide adequate veterinary care, inadequate sustenance, unsanitary conditions, and keeping animals in an inhumane environment.
