Carolinas Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners Agrees to Use Simulators Instead of Animals for Medical Training

September 2012

In September 2012, PETA purchased 15 newborn simulators for the Carolinas Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The modern simulators will be used instead of crude animal laboratories for emergency medical training and to improve training for nurses who treat sick and injured newborn babies.
