A decision was made to keep Ben the Bear at Performing Animal Welfare Sanctuary in California permanently instead of returning him to Jambbas Ranch, where he was kept in a 12-foot-by-22-foot cage. We had moved Ben earlier this month from North Carolina to California when a temporary injunction was ordered.
