Hollins University Ditches Body-Gripping Traps!

We received a complaint that Hollins University was using body-gripping traps—traps that clamp down on animals’ faces and bodies, causing them to suffocate slowly—to kill groundhogs on campus. We contacted school officials, and after we told them how cruel and dangerous the use of these traps was, the university agreed to use other methods and consider PETA’s deterrent suggestions.
